CORNUCOPIA OF CREATIVITY

I hope that you all had a series of happy holidays. This time of year (post Christmas & New Year, Pre-Tax Season) is usually a mixed bag of stress for way too many of us.
Often the way that I relieve stress is by creating something that can carry my angst. Sometimes it's writing. More often, these days, it's visual art. Take my Facebook Thanksgiving Post (slideshow) or Christmas Card (blog photo above), for example.
A perfect world finds my creativity On The Clock --meaning it will produce dollars to cover bills such as food, shelter, and federal self-employment tax (15% of net income). This fine world would also include my penchant for giving back to the various communities in which I travel.
Getting the balance right is always the trick. And in the tough moments, maybe even before the dust settles, look for the lighter side. 'Cause as the Turkey said to the Farmer at the Last Thanksgiving, this, too, shall pass !

COMING AROUND AGAIN - Nothing Stays the Same
The life of a Creative Entrepreneur in western Montana is always challenging, particularly in an economy still recovering from the Crash of 2008, and the American Wars seem Perpetual. One must remain aware, assertive, and accepting. Patience. Courage. Faith. Love.
